Setup Your MacTech Solutions Hosted Email Account on Your iPhone

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Scroll down and tap on “Mail”.
  3. Tap on “Accounts” and then tap on “Add Account”.
  4. Select “Other” and then tap on “Add Mail Account”.
  5. Enter the following:
    • Your name
    • Email address
    • Password
    • Description of this email account
  6. Tap on “Next” and then verify that “IMAP” is selected as the account type.
  7. Enter the following Incoming Mail Server settings:
    • Host Name: secure.emailsrvr.com
    • Username: your full email address
    • Password: your email password
  8. Enter the following Outgoing Mail Server settings:
    1. Host Name: secure.emailsrvr.com
    2. Username: your full email address
    3. Password: your email password
  9. Tap on “Next” and your iPhone will verify the account information.
  10. Once the verification is complete, you can choose which items to sync. Select “Mail” and/or “Notes” and then touch “Save”. This will return you back to the Mail Accounts list.
  11. Now that the email account is properly set up, we need to configure some folders in a special way. Follow these steps to set them up:
    • Touch “Advanced”.
    • Under “Mailbox Behaviors”, select “Drafts Mailbox”.
    • Touch “Drafts”.
    • Touch “Advanced” in the upper left corner to return to the previous screen.
    • Under “Mailbox Behaviors”, select “Sent Mailbox”.
    • Touch “Sent Messages”.
    • Touch “Advanced” in the upper left corner to return to the previous screen.
    • Under “Mailbox Behaviors”, select “Deleted Mailbox”.
    • Touch “Trash”.
    • Touch “Advanced” in the upper left corner to return to the previous screen.
  12. You have now set up your MacTech Solutions hosted email account on your iPhone with the proper folder settings.
