Texas State Certified Cybersecurity Training
Required Cybersecurity Training for Texas State and Local Government employees and contractors
MacTech Solutions now offers online CyberSecurity Training for State and Local governments. We have partnered with Entegration, Inc to offer CyberSecurity training that meets the new law, House Bill 3834 that became effective in January 2020.
MacTech Solutions is among the first companies in Texas to offer this training. State and Local governments are required to complete this training by June 14, 2020. We offer the most cost-effective training available that has been certified by the Texas Department of Information Resources.
Statewide Training Requirements
Annual training must be completed by June 14, 2020 by the following employees:

- State Agencies: Employees who use a computer to complete at least 25 percent of the employee’s required duties, and elected or appointed officers of the agency.
- Local Government Entities: Employees who have access to a local government computer system or database, and elected officials.
Contractors of state agencies who have access to a state computer system or database must complete training during the term of the contract and during any renewal period.
